My sister-in-law sent me this photo of a Grass Spider Web she took out in their pasture. "They're easy to identify because the spider will still be in there! Grass spiders rarely leave their webs and like to hide in the funnel shelter part of their sheet-like web. These funnel-shaped webs are flat and have a funnel or tunnel located to one side of the structure. Viewed from the top, they resemble a black hole."
What does a Grass Spider look like?
