Cast of Characters

This week I've been watching back-to-back episodes of The Practice (1997-2004), a legal drama series centering on the Boston law firm of Donnell, Young, Dole & Frutt.  The series is a mix of courtroom scenes and intricate legal cases laced with moral dilemmas.    

Boston Legal is a direct spin-off of The Practice, and fingers are crossed that Boston Legal will also be available.  

A movie marathon is a stellar way to entertain and distract the mind from life's pesky dramas that poke and prod at our brains.  Watching episode after episode of The Practice takes my mind and sets it free inside a scripted dimension.  It's my cinematic therapy.  

Part of my enjoyment is getting to know the characters and their individual personalities.  Each one adds his or her own flavor to the series.  Some are sweet and warm, some have a nutty flavor, some are hot and spicy.  Movies present the opportunity for us to study the depth and richness of human behavior.  

It's been said that everyone has a spice that matches their soul.  If you were asked to describe your personality as a spice, what would you be?
