It's good to be back after a tiny sabbatical. One must change gears when life's gnats start biting.
My quest for finding beauty in the world goes on. Some of the most fascinating places that I've been to have been underground. Carlsbad Cavern in New Mexico left a dent in my mind, my heart and my soul. The boyfriend and I walked the 1-1/4 mile Natural Entrance Trail from the entrance to the Big Room. That's equivalent to about 79 stories.
Henry David Thoreau said it best: "Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads."
